The 98256A cards provided an additional 256K RAM for 200 Series computers.
These memory modules were manufactured in Fort Collins until production was shifted to HP's Puerto Rico Division in March of 1985.
The 98256A memory boards are very common. Most 200 Series computers will have one or two of these modules. We have several dozen units at the museum. As of 2015, about 80% of these were working.
