The 17623A was designed specifically for use with HP terminals in an RS-232-C environment. It draws it's power directly from the terminal (2623A or 2627A). It had an active digitizing area of 11.6 inches by 8.8 inches. The version of the 17623A that connected to the 2700 Graphics Terminal had part number 13273T.
