In May of 1990, HP replaced the StarLAN 10 networking offering with the new HP Ethertwist offering. The new Ethertwist range was based on both the IEEE 802.3 standard and the new 10BASE-T draft standard. The original hubs (28684A Hub and 28688A Hub Plus) each came with 12 ports. The Hub Plus ($2,299) had the ability to support HP OpenView Hub Manager.^ TOP
