Description:
The 2617A was a wide-carriage full-character drum printer with a maximum print speed of 600 lines per minute. It was designed for use with HP 3000 systems. The 2617A was not graphics capable but could handle multipart forms of up to six pages.
The 2617A was made by Dataproducts Corporation. The 2617A was obsoleted in October of 1982.
