Description:
The 98218A is required for the 9831A to perform disc operations with a 9885M or 9895A disc drive.
Collector's Notes:
Unfortunately, the 98218A alone is not enough to initialize discs using the 9831A. The 9885 utility disc 09885-10014 contains the BIN INIT (required to initialize discs) and other utilities required to perform disc operations. Fortunately, discs initialized (in 9825/45 mode) with an HPL-version 200 Series computer will work with a 9831A. See the product documentation on the 9831A for instructions on using the 98218A.
