The 2240A was a measurement and control processor designed for use with 9825 or HP 1000 computer systems. The standard unit could control up to 128 analog/digital I/O channels. An additional 128 channels could be controlled by adding the 2241A extender ($1,500).
The 2250 measurement and control systems were introduced in 1981. The 2250M came in a 30-inch rack system and could control up to 256 measurement points. The 2250N ($12,000) came in an industrial NEMA-12 compliant cabinet. The 2250R came in a 56-inch rack and could be expanded to control up to 2048 points.^ TOP
